Individual Consultation

We begin with a consultation so I can understand the kind of support you’re seeking, and so you can get a sense of whether my approach resonates with you.

My work interweaves practices from Somatic Experiencing and the Feldenkrais Method, which means healing includes both talking and moving—integrating your intellect, emotions, and bodily experience. These methods engage your whole self, helping you to notice patterns of thought, emotion, movement, and relating, and how they influence your nervous system and your capacity to be with yourself and others. This may feel unfamiliar or even a little overwhelming, but we’ll move slowly, and having a compassionate presence in the process, makes all the difference.

The balance of talking and movement is flexible and tailored to your needs. For example, a session for someone with chronic pain or a frozen shoulder will look and feel different from a session supporting someone with trauma or persistent anxiety. What’s true for the consultation is true for every session: the work we do is always grounded in your nervous system capacity and what feels safe and supportive for you in the moment.
